When I create a Post, some text from the top of my Post will appear on the left sidebar. An ellipsis within square brackets appears at the end of the truncated text. But it is not an active link, and takes me nowhere when I click it. To get the ellipsis, I must have no text in the Excerpt box, even if “Excerpt” is not checked. * 2. If I put text in the Excerpt box, and text in the body of the edit window, both look fine without a , but in Preview, there is still nothing that links the excerpt on the left to the rest of the page on the right. * 3. If I uncheck “Excerpt” then go to “Preview Changes”, the previous Excerpt remains on the left side bar. * So I can’t figure out how to get a link from the excerpt to take me to the document, and don’t know how to use the tag.
