    Hello Everyone!

I did exactly how duey.d described early on this support forum, but it doesn’t seem to display the “Empty Trash” button or the “delete permanently”, and the “restore” on the drop down menu in the “Trash” area of the Flamingo admin; even though, I have WordPress 4.2.2 and Flamingo 1.2, everything is all up-to-date!

I checked another web site that I manage, and it’s running on an old version of WordPress, which is 4.1.5, but Flamingo is still version 1.2.

If I update the core of word press to 4.2.2 for the other website, I know that I will loose the “empty trash” and “restore” options in the admin of Flamingo. It’s obvious that Flamingo CRM plugin needs to be update to comply to WordPress’ 4.2.2 core. I looked at the code that duey.d displayed on this forum, and I’m led to believe that there is more to it than modifying the class-inbound-messages-list-table.php the file.

Also, I read the “readme.txt” file in flamingo’s plugin directory, and they only tested up to version 4.0, so that proves they need to update flamingo to be compatible with WordPress 4.2.2. I will do my best to try to contact the developer of this plugin to see if they are working on it. Hopefully this will be resolved.

    Kind Regards,
    David Guzman

To the developers of the Flamingo plugin,

The Flamingo Plugin does not give the option to “delete permanently” when emptying out the “Trash” on the UI of the plugin. As the others stated, it use to be there, but when I updated the plugin to version 1.2, it is no longer there!

I did the temporary solution according to mirandarma and purged all the old inbound messages in the Flamingo Trash area. Can someone look into this, please!

    Thanks guys for your help!

I’m having the same issue with my client’s non-profit organization for Service Dog and Therapy dog Program website in San Diego.(http://www.pawsteams.org).

It does complete the update, but I get those same errors that Jedi_430 had, so I will have to give Liquid Web a call to have this matter resolved.

    Hi @buzztone,

I read the issue with Yahoo and AOL in the mail chimp blog link that you attached on the post, and it does appear to be the cause with their DMARC policy spamming or completely NULLING people with either having a yahoo account or AOL account and potentially Gmail and others will follow suit.

For me, the solution is to create an email account (i.e. someone@pawsteams.org) for the person receiving the submitted info from a particular form that I created from the contact form 7 plugin, because I did test, and it seem to work with yahoo accounts and AOL accounts.

I understand what yahoo and AOL doing, and that is to reduce SPAM. I just have to inform the owner of the web site that she has to access submitted info to her new email account.

    I greatly appreciate your help!

@npoutdoors – I’m having the same issue, but I created a new topic on the matter (Not Receiving Contact Form 7 Info to My Email Account). Buzznote sent me this link: http://contactform7.com/setting-up-mail/#. I’m also looking into the matter.

    Hi iojis.w

I have the same issue! I’m the web master for a non-profit organisation in San Diego called Paws’itive Teams (http://www.pawsteams.org/). They are a service/therapy dog program and they have 10 forms in their site to gather information from users. And, of course, the plugin is Contact Form7.

I contacted my host/server (liquid web) to find out if there are any errors in mail server logs, but he found nothing! I read FAQ page on developer’s plugin (Takayuki Miyoshi) web site and found this thread that has the same issue I SEE A RESPONSE MESSAGE “YOUR MESSAGE WAS SENT SUCCESSFULLY” WITH GREEN BORDER, BUT I NEVER RECEIVE A MAIL FOR THAT.

It’s very strange?! Certain email accounts do go through; for example, people who have email accounts like Gmail, Hotmail, or macmail go through! But, others like yahoo (like me), AOL and others don’t go through, not even into junk/spam folders. The liquid web tech person mentioned that probably yahoo and others NULL it. But, I’m not sure!

I have installed a new forms plugin (Easy Contact Forms by Champion Forms http://easy-contact-forms.com ) to test it out if does the same, but it does not! I do receive the info using my yahoo account. So, I’m not sure what’s going on!!! Is it that Contact Form7 has a flaw somewhere in the scripting??!! Or, is it that certain email services are NULLing it! I like Contact Form7 WP plugin ALOT! And, I would like to continue using it, so hopefully this will get resolved. I’m willing to give more detail about this issue.

    Kind Regards,

I do have have “shoes” & “bags” as sub-cats under “fashion”. My point is that I don’t want both the “shoes” and “bags” mixed to together in their respected sub-cats even though they fall under the the main category “Fashion”.

Also, when I click on the “Shoe” post itself, it breadcrumbs like this Home » shoes » HEALTHIER HEELS, but I want it to be like this Home » fashion » shoes » HEALTHIER HEELS, so the person can know what the hierarchy of the category or link path is.

    Do you have any ideas?

    Thx,
    David

I’m experiencing the same thing. It tends to cliche out the admin end, but overall when the plug in displays on the page itself, works fine!

I just upgraded to the new 2.8, and nothing displays AT ALL, not my theme and not my admin page. What can I do the resolve this matter.
