I understand you can’t reproduce the problem. And I have a glimmer of understanding about how hard it is to support an unlimited combination of plugins and themes. * And this confirms my suspicion that this problem is caused by a setting within the Shield Security plugin. But there is nothing in the Dashboard»Activity»View Logs. * I know something is being blocked by Shield Security because it works if I disable this plugin. * I am about to give up on this plugin because it has lost its way from when it started as wp-simple-firewall. I have never used anything except the default setting. Don’t know why this is necessary, but it worked. I have tried with W3 Total Cache disabled. I have used the Health Check & Troubleshooting to disable all plugins except Shortcodes Ultimate. This all seems to point to a problem with Shortcodes Ultimate. All the Shortcode Ultimate shortcodes are broken on my site. Even the custom ones. I followed your suggestion with Health Check plugin. It shows there is no conflict with Yoast SEO. This is a problem with the Shortcodes Ultimate plugin because it doesn’t work even when it is the only plugin enabled. Sorry for the bother.
