 * I was able to make a template. I called it blanklandingpage.php
    Basically I 
   am looking for a blank canvas for images & text. When I use the template – nothing
   comes out when I save it or preview it. I am a total newbie so I am obviously
   missing something. Can anyone point me in the direction?

 * Oh that is awesome. Thank you so much. To make the page it says it is in the 
   themes directory. I am in the edit themes and I see the templates to the right.
   Am I able to add a new one within WordPress from there? Sorry for the simple 
   questions I am still learning.
