Please could you make mention of the need for inputting the required Domain into the Domains box.
This was not made clear in your steps. If it should work without the need to input the domains, then please let me know.
Thank you, and this problem is pretty much resolved. I needed to put my websites domain in the box labelled domains, under the my Site Key and Secret Key in the Google reCAPTHA key setting page.

Not to worry, I have installed a similar plugin from Robert Peake.
Even simpler than yours, however I think the issue may have been user error.
On the google page they do not explicitly say that the domains are required for the CAPTCH form to work. When I set up a domain in the box, the key was accepted.
I will try with your too and see if I can get it working now.

Thank you for the pointers.
Mysteriously though, after revisiting the Google Webmassacre Console, the verification option using Google Analytics actually decided to work!
All happy now, If I decide to invest an FTP manager I might get it verified this way. I am bit apprehensive about using the free options like FileZilla, as I am using the AppleOS.
