 * For instance a featured image on a post might have a path of [http://www.yoursite.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/image.jpg](http://www.yoursite.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/image.jpg)
   and if you were to navigate to that path you would see the image. Even if the
   post itself was private.
 * Is there no way to restrict access to those files?

 * I’ve just downloaded 3.2 and I do see an admin-header.php file in there. There’s
   a custom-header.php too.

 * What version of WordPress is it?
 * Check the WordPress release archives [http://wordpress.org/download/release-archive/](http://wordpress.org/download/release-archive/)
 * If the file exists in the version you have think about adding it manually.
    Always
   backup before you do anything. It might not be working now but you could make
   it worse 🙂
 * P.S You should think about why it disappeared in the first place too.

 * From what I can see, the shop log in page seems to use standard http
    but you
   have a page / post based form and an ajax type form.
 * Do both have the same issue?
 * Enabling WordPress debug messages might help you pin point what is wrong but
   I wouldn’t do it on a production site.
 * Some hosting providers allow you to enable server based logging which produces
   files containing error messages instead of them printing to screen. They might
   help too.

 * You would hope that it is where ever you were trying to access to log in.
 * If you access the customer facing WordPress site by a domain with no folder paths
   for instance [http://www.yoursite.co.uk](http://www.yoursite.co.uk) you would
   most likely log in with [http://www.yoursite.co.uk/wp-admin](http://www.yoursite.co.uk/wp-admin)
 * ## EDIT
    I must have been typing when the reply above came in 🙂

 * Hi
 * The message seems to suggest that the file “home/stexxxx/tietzessyndrome.com/
   wp-admin/admin-header.php” doesn’t exist in that location.
 * Does the file “admin-header.php” exist in the location “home/stexxxx/tietzessyndrome.
   com/wp-admin/” ?

 * How are you trying to log in?
 * If you have access to the server file structure make sure the page you are trying
   to access (the login page) is where you think it is.

 * Hi taelir,
 * I guess you mean you changed the site URL in the WordPress Dashboard?
 * If so and you’re worried that it may have remained somehow in the database after
   your change, you can override it via the wp-config file.
 * If it’s mentioned there, WordPress doesn’t even check the database for it.
 * You can at least rule out the database / URL problem then.

 * I changed to a number of themes including twenty ten and twenty eleven and the
   page situation is still the same.
 * I guess that means it’s my plugin.
 * I’m working on a more commercial update to the plugin so I’ll keep a close eye
   on things as it progresses.
 * Thanks for your help.

 * Thanks for the suggestions.
 * The Theme shouldn’t have that much effect on the admin area though should it?
 * I’ve also noticed that I can’t see a draft post in the post list either. It shows
   the draft number as 1 but if I filter only on the drafts I get nothing.
