Search for the file function.php within your wordpress theme 2. Create a backup of the file 3. Open the original functions.php 4. Search for the line ` case ”:` 5. Add a new line after it with `case 'comment' :` 6. In german the name of the option is “IP Adressen anonymisieren”. As far as I know, the ip addresses should be, from now on, displayed like e.g. 111.111.111.x. But this doesn’t seem to work for me. That helped a lot. * The inspector feature of firefox is a cool tool aswell, which let’s you find out more about elements. I’m using the codium extend- theme, but I think it could be a bug of the wordpress editor, or maybe the editor doesn’t like my browser (chromium under linux mint).
