I just found this post, because i have the same issue.
The like/dislike buttons didn’t show on any of my posts per default. I added the post-ids to the “Allow post ID” to let them show.
If i can make a suggestion.
Instead of having to ‘Select’ the categories. Create a swap box.
One for the allowed categories, and one for the disabled categories, and then two arrows in the middle, for swapping categories back and forth.
It is only for ease of usability of course.
