    Problem solved. Seems that a crashed caching-file on the server was causing the problem. Server rebooted and all is running without any errors again.

    I’m using WP 4.9.8.
    When I use debugger tools I get on Network analysis XHR the following error:

    SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data

    Tried also to disable all other plugins, same error for IP-Geo Block logs.

    Hm… changed browser. Unfortunately same error with Chrome latest.

    Hi,
    thank you, I managed to change the paths by myself in this case. It would be grateful to have a possibility of manual update of the path for such cases. Specially for that users changing providers each 3, 6 or 12 months. Generally I’m not touching any backend, I’m simply moving FTP to FTP and changing config-files by adding the new login data…

    For me the same problem: When I check “Do you want to block individual post types:” than you can access feed. If I uncheck this, than feed is blocked. Google is whitelisted and also IP’s I have added to whitelist. Google feed remains blocked. Also some strange behavior for some posts. They will be blocked as well, although they are on whitelisted on tags and category. Seems that there is something mixed up in this section.

    This does not solve the problem. Google Feed IP already added to the whitelist, Google is also added to allowed bots. Furthermore I have some post blocked, although category and tags for this post are whitelisted. Where can I see what is blocked exactly ? Server logs ?

    Hi,

    seems that the false blocking was due to some cache. DE is now working.
    I’m on VPS network. I’m not using any kind of firewall. The network is secured against DDOS. Before users can access to my page they must pass a kind of honeypot. Perhaps this script is forcing Real IP. I don’t know in 100%.

    I’m not on IIS server. I’m on Apache latest version and ngnix proxied. Strange this one lock I had… I also never seen this type of HTTP Header X-Imforwards. Perhaps really some kind of browser specialty…
    I’m myself the server admin… As stated before, error logs also checked and no entry. Quite strange thing. But it was only one block with this kind of protocol. So I will only keep an eye on it for now.

    Thank you for your help. Problem of false blocking was solved after all caches emptied.

    no. I want just the opposite. IP Geo Block is blocking users like this:

    For my understanding, please confirm: If I make changes on settings and don’t clear cache, than the country will be blocked. Is this the reason for that false blockings ?

    And what’s about this reason: HTTP_X_IMFORWARDS=20 It was also a German IP. Do you have any info material what this HTTP_X_IMFORWARDS means ? It is a server error, or what ? On server error logs I didn’t find anything.

    I activated and deactivated all TT-Tools several times. No I get a connection by testing password and User, but when I try to post a tweet, I get:
    Oops, your tweet was not posted. Please check your username and password and that Twitter is up and running happily.

    Also no other posts were posted on twitter.

    So I don’t understand how this tool works. Connection seams to be ok now, but nothig will be sent to my twitter account, because password is incorrect ???

    Hi, I’m new and ‘ve installed this plug-in the first time yesterday.

    I also cannot connect to twitter: Twitter Username/Password Sorry, login failed. Error message from Twitter: This method requires authentication.

    When I’m sending posts, Im’ already logged in twitter. All manually posted ads do work. Is there any setting problem ? I tried also to uncheck firewall, the same problem. No posts can be added from the blog to twitter. Not in the post, nor as option ad tweet.

    @terrylee – Sorry, but I cannot agree to that. We have tryed also another classified plug-in form add-ons download and that was totally buggy and had too many problems with TyneMCE. AWPCP works, without any problems. The only thing what I personally miss is a language file. I translateted all by hardcode in the .php.

    I think the problems you had were due to a missconfigured Theme.

    I installed new version and cannot open blog anymore:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function hash() in /srv/www/web13/html/blog/wp-content/plugins/simple-tags/inc/client.php on line 258

    Pleaser update. Simple Tags RC1 is deactivated in the meantime.
