    Debian GNU/Linux 10 (buster) nginx/1.14.2 PHP:7.4 Wordpress Version:
   6.1.1 The Events Calendar: 6.0.5 Theme: Betheme Versie: 26.6.5
 * client side
    Broswer Firefox: 107.0.1 (64-bit) OS: Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS
 * as a workaround i set the location to nothing, then update, put the location 
   back and update again. After that the update button is going nowhere.
