 * I have 1 person who experiences this error on my site when all other users don’t
   have a problem. I wish that I could fix this error for him but I don’t know how.
   Any Ideas?

 * Wow, Thanks for asking. [
    Please note my addition of a new haiku player which
   has the same problems: it plays on the home public page; but it doesn’t play
   on the band member protected content page. If you would like to register as a
   user I will grant you custom capabilities (s2Member) so that you can try the
   protected content. Thx.
 * Here is what I have been dealing with:
    Cernek.com is my band’s three-page website.
   My band members and I (8 users) go there to listen to the MP3s from our practices
   and performances. The homepage is accessible to the public where several MP3s
   are listed and can be played by anyone, and the second page contains password-
   protected content for logged in band members only. It has all has worked flawlessly.(
   The third page is a requirement of using s2Member to notify non-logged in users
   that they do not have access to the band members only page)
 * Yesterday I became aware of a problem where logged in members were having difficulty
   playing MP3s on the band members only page. Only a few MP3s will play, and only
   sometimes, while most MP3s will not play. Everyone seems to be able to play all
   of the MP3s on the homepage without a problem.
 * I have built the site using WordPress (v 3.2.1), List Yo’ Files to list all of
   the MP3s in a particular folder (practice or performance), WPaudio to play the
   MP3s on demand, and s2Member to handle membership access to the protected content.
   All plug-ins and themes are up to date.
 * What could be wrong?

 * I can now rule out the following troubleshooting:
 * I’ve installed quick cache.no improvement.
 * On my web host server we have confirmed that there has been no bandwidth throttling,
   a check of the MySQL slow query files shows no abnormally slow processes, the
   MySQL database check is okay, all scripts are up to date. Tech support can see
   no reason on their end why this should be happening.

 * Let me try a more accurate description of the problem.
 * Cernek.com is my band’s three-page website. My band members and I (8 users) go
   there to listen to the MP3s from our practices and performances. The homepage
   is accessible to the public where several MP3s are listed and can be played by

   the MP3s in a particular folder (practice or performance), WPaudio to play the
   MP3s on demand, and s2Member to handle membership access to the protected content.
   All plug-ins and themes are up to date.
 * What could be causing this problem? Please advise.

 * Thx, using a non-admin account I did as you suggested, clicked on the forgotten
   password link and flled in the requested info. The non-admin account received
   an email to reset the password.
 * But how do I as the administrator configure wordpress to email me when someone
   new rgisters for membership?.

 * Thanks.
 * I mainly want to share protected MP3s with logged in users based upon membership
   roles.
 * Can you think of a reason (other than the $19.97 per year space upgrade) not
   to use a free WordPress.com site?

 * The host replied that on their server, they have to manually create my user name,
   password, database, and assign permissions, the last of which they previously
   forgot to do. Now I was able to run the installation script, with errors… 🙁

 * I did post a question to the host, thank you.
 * But something doesn’t seem right, the instructions asked me to “point a web browser
   to start the installation script”. By point I assume they mean typing that script
   into the address bar of the browser.
 * Isn’t there some type of security wall to prevent anyone from pointing a browser
   to my site to run the install.php file? Could I be running into that security
   wall?

 * OK, so with wordpress, s2member, and streampad I could create a site so that
   people could come and hear my music.
 * How would I learn to set my site up for this behavior. I would like any visitor
   to my website to be presented with a list of songs that they could see and play.
   I would like others to be able to create their own membership where I would then
   assign them to a specific user role. After being assigned a role they could then
   login to see and play a list of songs that are accessible only to users of that
   role. I would like to have multiple user roles each with their own unique list
   of songs. Some songs could belong to more than one role.
