 * Thank you Gerroald for your quick response, I think I have things figured out
   now.
 * To help others that may read this thread, I think I had to recognize that the
   empty logs were just the plugin doing a scan of a chunk of files and finding 
   no changes, and that also this meant that the changes that were logged on different
   days didn’t necessarily occur on that day, but were from updates done several
   days prior. Otherwise, seeing that changes were occurring daily when you are 
   the only one who has the ability, is alarming.
 * I do like the feature of your pro version that allows you to compare core files
   with the current version core files from WordPress. I may be updating to the 
   pro version some time in the future for this feature in particular.
