The problem is certainly in theme not the plugin per se. It’s an older custom theme. Changes I make to editor- style.css in the parent theme (2011) seem to make no difference to the styles drop-down in TinyMCE Advanced. Is there a different method for a child theme? Those post will appear in the slide show. Choose a category for those posts and make that category correspond with the categories that you designate in the settings of the slide show.
