 * I tried disabling the plugins but that didn’t help.
 * I don’t want to disable or change the theme because the alternatives aren’t suitable
   for what I need.

 * Yes, the process appears to be working in the admin panel, but the images are
   not showing up on the site. It’s not all images, just any I try to upload now.
   The images that took remain visible, but anything else I try to load doesn’t.
   It stopped working very suddenly. One minute I could change the image, next thing
   I knew it wasn’t working.
 * Previously we had the same image of women walking up a hill on every page, which
   I only now want on the home page. When I upload the new image I can see it in
   the admin panel, but when I view the page it still has the original image.
 * The site is csmc.org.au for your reference.
