Also, make sure the file wp-config.php is in the root directory of your WordPress installation. Sorry, it didn’t work for you the first time. From what I noticed normally people have problems with their PHP settings and their limited hosting providers. The Email clients are very extensive PHP programs and require extensive PHP support. There are people who test the plugin and I don’t want their database to be flooded with unnecessary data in their database after they uninstall it. It’s up to you to test the new update in your dev environment and if all is fine update the plugin in your production. So if you use the plugin for serious business, please create your own deployment process and don’t just hit update anytime you see the update notification.
