 * I am using the WP-Types plugin as well and have contacted them to have them look
   at my permalink structure as well.
    When I removed the custom permalink structure
   option I was able to get 404 pages when multiple items were selected but when
   only one item was selected it was pulling in blog posts instead of the custom
   post type.
 * When you say start with a clean install, are you referring to rebuilding the 
   site??

 * I tried accessing this URL with S&F disabled AND on WP 4.4:

   and nothing changed. I am still seeing the home page.
 * Perhaps it’s the way WP4.4 is handling custom taxonomies????

 * Please, I need to get this working asap. I verified that I get a blank results
   page with the generic WordPress 2015 Theme. It is not my theme that is creating
   this error.

 * I deactivated all my plugins and still no change.
    I deactivated my theme and
   just used the 2015 theme and tried the url again and still no change. It keeps
   showing the content from the home page.
 * The only thing that corrects this issue is if I revert back to WP4.3 instead 
   of 4.4.
    I have a unique layout specific to the search results but it is not 
   recognizing these urls anymore.

 * P.S. – I reverted my site back to 4.4 and the search&filter form works again.
   
   I would like to update my wordpress version back to 4.4 but need to know that
   the search and filter will work.
