* questions #7 & 9 had to be reformatted with $ 1 etc. to make them show. I have
also noticed that things like link styling don’t come through correctly. The
links work, but the styling from the theme is absent, so I had to manually style
them. Odd.

* Interesting. I took a look at internet archives for the page and it seems that
this problem has been around for a long time on my site. Probably a plugin conflict
then – I’ll start looking that way. Thanks for your help! I’ll let you know if
I can isolate the issue.

* oh forget it.
* i got so focused on finding a solution, i didn’t think about simply changing
permalinks on the new server to include the /blog/ in the url.

* i have the site already staged. on the old server, the blog was put in a subdirectory,/
blog. hence, all blog posts have domain.tld/blog/post-name as the url.
* i am using wordpress as a static site for the new server and have blog entries
listed on a page /blog/. all blog posts show for that page. however, when you
click on the blog post titles, the url becomes domain.tld/postname.
* all im wanting to do is redirect search requests from the old domain.tld/blog/
postname format to the new domain.tld/postname format for the url.
* ***the caveat is that i dont want to redirect domain.tld/blog/ on the new server,
since that is the page that list all the blog posts.

* I would also like an export feature, though I have done export from mysql – but
would be nice to be able to do from dashboard.

* that’s a great suggestion. However, when I go to thumbnail management, I get
a blank list. I am running the latest version.
* I went through and disabled all plugins, one at a time, to see if i had a conflict,
but no luck.
* I looked on another site that is running it, with an older version. That showed
thumbnails, but when I updated, the list went blank.
* I also cannot change the icon from the media view, so not sure what’s going on
here.
* Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

* forget this request. after looking into the way that the plugin handles icons,
it is based on file type extension, which makes sense. my need surrounds one
offs on known file type extensions, so this approach won’t work.

* this shows one page with all the testimonials and no pagination with 10 testimonials.

* ok, i did indeed have some code that i had tested previously that was giving
the deprecated warning. i got rid of that and i have no errors now.
* i am using the shortcode, as follows:

* the only javascript errors i see are deprecated warning related to jquery. i
also installed debug this, and see strong testimonials appear there.
* If I go to the page source, I see the following. I think I would expect to see
pagination here, but I could be completely off-base:
