In reply to: [WP CSV] Error: Undefined reported from webserverHi majorredbeard
Thanks for reporting the error.
That code block is actually not from WP CSV. When it’s been reported previously, the only way I’ve been able to reproduce the error is to stop Apache in the middle of import/export. With the last person who reported this, I found that Apache was running out of memory and crashing dozens of times a day.

I’ll be addressing this soon along with a long list of other issues I haven’t had time to get to.

In reply to: [WP CSV] Only 3 columns remainHi newby2015
Just a guess, but possibly you need to put an asterix in the include fields box and blank the exclude fields box?

In reply to: [WP CSV] Export failed due to a server error.Hi jwolff
You can trigger that error by restarting Apache during an import or export. Assuming that you didn’t restart Apache deliberately, then check the error logs. Your server may be running out of memory and the OOM killer targeting Apache processes.
If no luck there, then consider any other activity or config on your server that could cause the connection to be dropped unexpectedly. If the error consistently occurs after a certain amount of time (ie 30 secs), then it suggests a timeout caused by your server config somewhere.
FYI – the javascript code that is outputted is from the JQuery library that comes with WordPress, not my plugin.
Hope that helps.

In reply to: [WP CSV] Re-serializing on importOk, thanks for clarifying. It shouldn’t be exporting like that. It should export custom fields like that as JSON. Either the plugin has failed to identify serialised data and convert to JSON, or the data isn’t stored as expected.
I’ll take a look as soon as I can.

In reply to: [WP CSV] Re-serializing on importHi Craig
All I can say is that they shouldn’t! When you export arrays/objects, they should appear in JSON format. If they remain in JSON format, then the intention is that they’d be re-serialized on import. There’s a check to see if the data is still valid JSON. Is it possible that the format is invalid by the time of re-import?

In reply to: [WP CSV] Nice pluginCheers jhcmarket! I’d love to, and actually planned to about a year ago, but here we are… still too busy! Glad it worked well for you anyway.

In reply to: [WP CSV] Setting to add tags to exported postsHi Isginsights
You should already be able to add HTML into the post_content field. If the paragraphing is not as expected, it may be more to do with WP (which does automatic formatting) than WP CSV. Right now, I can’t comment beyond that.

In reply to: [WP CSV] Exporting Custom Fields from TaxonomyHi cfox0807
Last time I checked (a while ago), WP CSV did support tags, categories, and custom taxonomies. The plugin doesn’t extract any information from wp_options however. If you’re sure the key information is stored there, then WP CSV probably won’t work for you.

In reply to: [WP CSV] Custom Field IssueHi Jill
I’m not familiar with Custom Field Suite. From your report, it does sound like it may not be compatible with WP CSV. You could perhaps ask the authors to clarify what is required. You could find that it’s either quite complicated or impossible to achieve what you want with WP CSV.

In reply to: [WP CSV] Re-serializing on importHi Craig
I haven’t had time to check the plugin on WP 4.5 yet. There’s a chance it isn’t compatible. I’ll try to review the plugin in the near future.

In reply to: [WP CSV] Having trouble exporting fieldsHi sheenarae
I have no spare time for troubleshooting at the moment, but I noticed that there might be a simple fix for your problem.
Long shot, but wondering if ‘####’ is caused by the column being too narrow in Excel.
Hope that helps. Sorry if it doesn’t.

Hi
Sorry you’re experiencing a problem. From the error, it sounds like you’ve run out of disk space and would need to talk to your web host about that if you’re not sure how to clean it up. You can also delete the plugin via FTP if all other attempts to disable it fail.

Nothing comes to mind, but I’ll review this on next update. Just a quick run through the support tickets today unfortunately. I hope to get some time for an update in the next month or two.
