Hello,
Don’t worry apparently your plugins work properly.
I investigated somewhat and the thing is not use the ‘Main File’ option to put your file in WordPress. This is the problem.
Apparently, if you use Medium Size(800px*800px) or Small Size(256px*256px) options then the image of the *.PNG file from my Dropbox free account stay for one day.
I tested this yesterday with Small Size(256px*256px) option and the image did not disappear today.
As you know, using ‘Main File’ option in WordPress ‘text tab’ appear
<img class=”alignnone” style=”margin: 0px; float: left;” src=”https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/ ….
And the code does not use the API and this was my problem.
While using Medium Size(800px*800px) or Small Size(256px*256px) options in WordPress ‘text tab’ appear
<img style=”margin: 4px; float: left;” src=”https://api-content.dropbox.com/r11/ …
And know the code uses the API.
And with the API it is not necessary to have ‘Public Folders’ in Dropbox (I do not have one) and the image of the *.PNG file from my Dropbox free account does not disappear.
Of course, I have to do more tests but apparently it works.
Thank you.
Yes, I clicked and read the link while logged in my Dropbox free account
Below you can see the page.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/2j0bmf7bpgwgft9/ENABLE_PUBLIC_FOLDER.JPG?dl=0
I suppose you can see the Link and It is a JPG file with a hardcopy of the page with a share link in my Dropbox free account.
It is in Spanish (my language) but the last bold sentence says “currently only users with Pro and Business version can Enable Public Folders from this page.” And you can do nothing in this page with my free account.
Thanks
Thanks for your quick support.
But as you mention, the only thing is that now it is not possible for new Dropbox free account to have the Public Folder option without upgrading to Pro or Business Dropbox.
So, I thing I could not use this plugin with my Dropbox free account.
Thank you anyway.
Hello,
Today I updated Google Chrome at the last Version (43.0.2357.81 m) and the ‘Scan Homepage for Malware’ button is working fine again.
I don’t know whether it’s a coincidence or not because yesterday and before yesterday I didn’t test the ‘Scan Homepage for Malware’ button with de former Google Chrome version.
But the thing is that now with the last Google Chrome Version the ‘Scan Homepage for Malware’ button is working fine again.
Thanks.
