 * Thanks for the feedback.
 * Not sure this line was really necessary though my friend 🙄 :

 * Sorry, I’m unable to replicate the issue on my test environment, so not sure
   I can be of any help.
 * Is the plugin still working as expected?

 * If you copied and pasted the shortcode from the installation instructions you
   may have brought over the formatting of the double quotes from the wordpress.
   org site.
 * Try just typing the shortcode again with _normal_ double quotes around the menu
   name. That should fix it.

 * The server’s json response is what is expected by the plugin, so there shouldn’t
   be an issue there.
 * Only thing I can think of to suggest is that you disable other plugins and try
   one of the default themes to rule out the problem being in your plugin/theme
   setup.

 * Is that the response from the admin-ajax.php when you view it in the Network
   tab in dev tools? What you’ve sent just looks like a console error.

 * [@cloudshift](https://wordpress.org/support/users/cloudshift/) – I’m closing
   this ticket as not had a response from you for about a week or so. Happy to reopen,
   if you’re still having issues.
 * [@harrowsmithmag](https://wordpress.org/support/users/harrowsmithmag/) can you
   start a new thread please with your support topic? It would be useful to see
   what the response is from the admin-ajax.php that is causing the JSON error.
   Could you add that to your new support topic please.

 * Hi John, new version available now. If you pass in a “menu” attribute in the
   shortcode it will display the menu instead of the site pages. eg – [wp_visual_sitemap
   menu=”my menu”]

 * Also, if you create a new page, does the problem still happen?

 * Could you show the featured image box in the CSS and send me a screengrab of
   the error please, if that’s ok?

 * Hey Julian, this shouldn’t be an issue as the plugin checks if there is a featured
   image present on the post/page/cpt before checking the size, so if you don’t
   have any featured images added to your pages the check won’t happen and the page
   publishing will work as normal.

 * Hi John, there is no support for this in the current version. It’s a nice idea
   though, so I’d be happy to look at adding this feature for a future version.

 * [@rioyee](https://wordpress.org/support/users/rioyee/) sorry for such a slow
   reply. John is correct, the only way to exclude pages is via the option on the
   page’s edit screen.
