 * What about making images **with captions** responsive? Big barrier to this seems
   to be that the width of the caption div is declared inline as a pixel value.
 * [http://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/14380](http://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/14380)
 * Anybody have any great ideas? I did find [some code](http://troychaplin.ca/2012/06/updated-function-fix-inline-style-that-added-image-caption-wordpress-3-4/)
   that removes the inline style, but then what? Using a percentage (of the post
   width) to set the caption div width works better, but how would you accomodate
   different image sizes (e.g. thumbnail vs. large).
 * Thoughts?

 * Ran into this issue, too. Fix worked as described. Any reason why this shouldn’t
   be included as an update to the plugin?

 * Yeah, I’d like to have a distinct style for the credit, that’s different from
   the rest of the caption. That’s why having a separate, baked-in field and class
   for a credit would be awesome.

 * Well…it’d be nice to have a separate field I could style in the template, instead
   of having to rely on a user to enter a credit div/span and class in every photo
   caption:
 * Like so: [http://d.pr/i/m0J0](http://d.pr/i/m0J0)
 * Make sense?

 * Thanks. I did eventually [run across that](http://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/18311).
   But how to style it? Wondering if divs and classes will be allowed.

 * Ditto: [http://d.pr/i/vfrA](http://d.pr/i/vfrA)
 * It shows up fine at first in the visual editor ([http://d.pr/i/bJSy](http://d.pr/i/bJSy)),
   but if I switch to the HTML tab and back, it’s disconnects the photo and caption.
   Also happens after I click “Update.”

 * Sorry – to clarify: index.php, single.php AND archive.php all work. The custom
   categories are not showing the custom fields (e.g. category-12.php). The custom
   category pages DO show the rest of the post, however (title, content, timestamp,
   etc.).

 * Bump – they work on index.php and single.php, but not archive.php and any other
   custom category pages.
