 * Appreciate the prompt replies. Social previews are fine, but if sharing the homepage
from a mobile browser, the preview omits the site title, which is how it shows
if you share it on anything other than Facebook or Twitter, including text threads.
Again, it’s an admittedly minor detail, but I’d appreciate any insight on this
issue, especially since it only applies to the homepage. Many thanks in advance.

 * No sooner I post this, I see the connectivity issue is gone, but WF still doesn’t
show live traffic. Now Wordfence Live Activity seems to be stuck on showing me
same alert that it’s blocking a certain IP for exceeding the number of pages
not found errors per minute for humans.

 * Looks like I’m saving the same problem. Hope they can fix in 4.2 whatever is
   causing this.

 * I’m having the same problem with attempting a reinstall of WP 3.8.2. Deleting
all of my inactive plugins has not fixed the problem, however.
 * I’ve also had multiple issues with trying to update plugins in which the install
fails. I get error messages that say the plugin could either not create a directory
   or copy a file.
 * I notice several other threads out there indicating similar gripes ever since
the 3.8.2 update. Can’t help but wonder if there’s a bug that needs patching.

 * Same here. Started after latest update. Deactivated all other plugins. Still
broke images. Haven’t touched the theme in weeks. I’ve had to deactivate NextGEN
+ and now I’m scrambling to make sure my OG data is good. DID NOT NEED THIS ON
   VERGE OF HOLIDAY.

 * It seems there’s a conflict with the plugin Events Manager. Liveblog has served
me well several times. I installed EM yesterday and got 404 error codes while
trying to live blog The Oscars. It works fine after deactivating EM.

 * I would be very interested in adding a function like this as well. Anyone more
adept at coding have a solution?

 * I figured out the problem. It was self-inflicted. I had turned off the rewrite
in the .htaccess file (in hopes of solving thumbnails not loading on Facebook
previews). That screwed up the custom permalinks. When I switched to default,
they were fine, but custom broke the feed. I edited the .htaccess file back and
the feed works with custom permalinks once again.

 * BTW, I tried deactivating all the plugins and tested the feed. Still nothing.
