What is the the url slug of your checkout page? Form what I know if the url contains non-english character, the illegal_sign error occurs when using GET method. Since there could be lots of products in one order. For order info, the admin notify email sent by WooCommerce covers that well. Please note that Alipay is quite different from Paypal and the one we are talking about is only available in China and a few countries in Asia. There is indeed no application to create. Please follow the instruction of [this page](https://b.alipay.com/newIndex.htm) to apply for an Alipay account. If you have any trouble, then maybe this payment method is not right for you or you should have someone in China help you.
