However, one thing you could do is set your .htaccess to allow either authenticating by user or ip address. There’s presently an issue with adding google custom search, we’re planning to take a look into fixing that. * Also, you should be able to add a sitemap.xml to your static files, though you may need to specify it manually. As far as generating a sitemap.xml, you’re probably better off looking at other plugins that specialize in that kind of thing. I’m fairly certain the issue is that Simply Static is getting cut off before it can complete its generation process.
