Several people seemed to be having trouble with the temp files location in Simply Static, so I updated it to a new location (a directory within the Simply Static plugin) as of v2.0.4. * Updating Simply Static should automatically adjust your temporary files directory, but if it doesn’t, go to Settings->Advanced, and then copy and paste the Default value into the text field and hit Save. * Hopefully that helps. You’ll have to do that by hand for now. Given the error message you’re getting it seems like you’re running 5.2 or below. Simply Static presently treats non-www and www as different domains, so that’s causing your issue. I’d take a look at Settings->Include/ Exclude. My guess is that you’re including `/wp-content/uploads/` and you might not want to. I’ve emailed Flywheel to see if there’s a reason why they do that. Unfortunately there’s presently no way for Simply Static to save that file as an index.php. You could just manually rename it, of course, but I’m sure you’re hoping to not have to do that every time. * If you don’t mind my asking, why are you using Simply Static with Flywheel? Flywheel has security tools and caching built in, and they remove malware for free. Don’t get me wrong — I’m glad you’re using Simply Static! I’m just wondering why you chose to use it. It’s a suggestion I’ve gotten a lot though, and I do plan to offer something eventually. * As far as using a CDN for image assets, you’d probably need to use another plugin to set that up.
