 * Hi there,
 * Thank you so much for your feedback. Sorry to hear that you find the 10 folder
limit too low for the free version. This is actually the first time someone mentions
this concern. For every other user this seems to be fine.
 * Users who need unlimited folders, post type categorization, SVG support, etc.
are happy to upgrade to HappyFiles PRO for a one-time payment of $19 (lifetime
support and updates). Or they use an alternative plugin.
 * Did you install and use HappyFiles and then ran into the 10 folder limit? In
that case I can understand that it might be frustrating.
 * That is why I am open and upfront about this 10 folder limit in the free version
and clearly state it everywhere online, including the wordpress.org plugin page.
 * In case you haven’t used the plugin, and base your review only on the 10 folder
limit, I’d appreciate if you would rate the plugin based on its overall functionality.
Such a review provides everyone who is looking at the reviews with a more accurate
picture of how/if the plugin works as advertised. Which frankly, it does.
 * Looking very much forward to your reply,
    Thomas

 * Thanks so much for reporting this issue. By default all files in the media library
are ordered by date in a descending order (i.e. the newest files are shown first).
HappyFiles itself does not change the file order. Is this issue still present
when you deactivate HappyFiles? If so, it’s most likely caused by another plugin.

 * Right now, to retrieve a HappyFiles category slug/ID you have to inspect the
source code, as you can see in the following screenshot: [https://happyfiles.io/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/how-to-inspect-category-slug-id.jpg](https://happyfiles.io/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/how-to-inspect-category-slug-id.jpg)
 * You can see that I am searching for the “Animals” string in my source code. Which
   reveals the correct
    - tag. The “data-term-id” is the category ID. In my example the category ID
is 549. And the slug is the
    - class name “animals”. But the slug changes every time you change the category
name, so it’s best to always use the category ID, as it never changes.
    - I am looking into a better way of accessing the category ID. I tried showing
it as a title for each category in the HappyFiles sidebar. So it appears on
hover. Which turned out to be a bit too intrusive as most people don’t retrieve
      the ID very often.
    - If you’ve got any idea how to show the category ID, I am all ears.
    - Best,
       Thomas
