It was somewhat redundant, as you select categories from the sidebar anyway. It also messed up the filter bar styling, especially on smaller screens. And with the new addition to categorize posts, page, custom post types, etc. (only available to HappyFiles PRO users) having a post category plus HappyFiles’ category filter dropdown would have been very confusing. This feature is disabled by default.
