I wondered if it would then show 2 entries per category, but oddly it doesn’t. Set all the Settings and tried it out. But have a few issues. * I tried different variations of the ShortCode, but can only get one category to display on a page. I’ve tried different ways of including multiple categories in the shortcode, but it seems to only work with one category. * However, when using just one category I have other problems. I created screenshots, but can’t attach them here or on the contact page on your site, so I’ll try to describe them. * Even though I have Featured Image set to show as thumbnail, it displays much larger. Also, for some reason part of the image and text I have earlier in the page (before the shortcode) is being displayed again to the right of the featured image in the list. I’m not a plugin writer by any means, but it seems it would be relatively simple compared to some of the very well written and feature rich plugins available for other things. not that it will be simple or easy, of course, but comparatively. In fact, it would be very similar. * For fields, the poster would need to be able to enter a username, email address, and description of requirements, with the ability to upload an attachment for example purposes, etc. * They shouldn’t have to register as a member to be able to request a quote, though it might be helpful to have some sort of Captcha system or something similar. And of course an email address would be required. * Contractors would then be able to reply (comment) to the request. This could all be done in one comment field, but it would be helpful to have a separate field for the quote amount.
