I started unchecking items one at a time.

Not really sure what “Full width archive page” connects to… does it automatically create an archive page somewhere?

Sorry, totally new to blog related stuff.

But I unchecked it and “Full width single post” and now the mailchimp widget shows up.

Not clear on how it will affect that full page thing, but will look at it as I add posts!

Hope this helps some other newbie out there.
