 * Thank you for responding. I’ve tested several times and now it’s clear that ticking
   the “Hide / Mask” option causes the behavior in Chrome.

 * I’ve read that document before asking the question and currently using some add_filter
   to add my class names.
 * The problem is, I don’t have deep understanding of the walker_nav_menu yet. My
   theme has already a custom walker nav menu and It does not have a function that
   adds class names to the parent or ancestor `<li>` of a Blog Post.
 * I temporarily resolved this issue, using CSS. I’ve combined the body class `.
   single-post` with the `.current-post-ancestor` class names.
 * So in the mean time, it’s gonna stay that way while I learn the walker menu.
