 * **Update:**
 * So the break seems to be happening on FireFox but it looks fine on Chrome.
 * Figured this would be some valuable information for whoever comes to the rescue!
 * Thanks for helping me solve this in advance!

 * I’m having this exact same issue and I also have a static home page. Whenever
   I change the SEO title in the Yoast WordPress SEO settings.. the snippet changes
   my website from:
 * [http://mywebsite.com/](http://mywebsite.com/)
 * to
 * [http://mywebsite.com/whatever-seo-title-I-entered/](http://mywebsite.com/whatever-seo-title-I-entered/)
 * If this is only an error with the snippet preview then I’m not concerned. But
   if it shows up in the search engines, then this is bad news. Hopefully it’s just
   a bug!
 * This all happened after the 1.6.1 plugin update. Hopefully you guys can find
   a solution! 😀
 * I’ve contacted Yoast support about this. Will let everyone know if I find a solution
   as well!
