 * If it is a theme conflict, what files could be affecting this? And why would 
   the theme be affecting the dashboard(date picker was working fine before i updated)?
   As for the plugin the date picker doesn’t work with other plugins (Im using the
   date picker mostly in The events calendar)
 * Going to try what you suggested see if it works w/ all plugins dispabled/changing
   theme.

 * Updated, still not working, I reinstalled WordPress and its still the same. This
   is a very old website and a very old theme. Could it be a jquery issue? maybe
   its not using the latest version of jquery

 * Sorry miswrote that, I updated to the latest version (5.3) after the installation
   the date picker was acting weird. I reinstalled the plugin (the events calendar)
   but the plugin was not the issue. The date picker didn’t work with any date picking
   input in any plugin.
