 * Thank you so much for your responses. It would appear to be absolutely true all
   that you have said.
 * I uploaded xml backup of the site to my own hosting account and everything works
   perfectly.
 * I’ll relay all the findings to the ‘host’ and let them figure it out and recommend
   change to linux.
