 * WordPress doesnt add any <p> tags to my content whatsoever.
 * I can add them manually in the HTML and then they will be saved to db, and output
in the source on the front end, however any use of the visual editor wipes out
   all <p> tags.
 * I cannot expect the client to learn and write HTML code in order to update their
   content.
 * So far, I’ve found WordPress to be very buggy for something so popular.

 * I’m having the same problem and its very frustrating.
 * I can manually add the <p> tags in the HTML, and when saved, they show up in
the front code. However, as soon as I view the page post in the Visual editor,
the p tags are stripped out.
 * Adding extra   tags makes no difference to the output on the front.
 * It seems like an issue with the <p> tag.
