    It seems the “select” type is still working. “checkbox” won’t show.

    As of now the only replacement I can find is “Ultimate WP Query Search Filter”. GUI instead of shortcode, and not 100% the same functionality like S&F.

    Hopefully the S&F can be back soon. Nice plugin actually.

    Well I kind of understand why now. The real file sits in Uploads/yyyy/mm folder with hashed names.

    Well never mind. I found I can disable the theme’s Font Awesome, and install via plugin. Thanks anyway.

    Hi,

    That could be some wording I did not understand…

    In Firewall -> 404 Detection, I enabled “Enable IP Lockout For 404 Events” so it should start to log in the “404 event logs”. This is not for “automatically recognize and lockout” per the wording in “more info”, only record down the events.

    Then, in the same location I put “60” for “Time Length of 404 Lockout (min)”. Based on the “more info” I suppose this is for the “temporary lockout”. Meaning if I “temp block” an IP, it won’t be able to access my site for 60 min. Again this is not what I need because I still need to interact to “temp” block it.

    Hi @mbrsolutions,

    Thanks but it’s not what I want.

    When a person tries to browse some non-existing files, WP will generate a 404. If this kind of requests come in 800+ per second, how can WP Security block it “automatically” before I find it in “404 detection” table.

    I know in Firewall -> 404 Detection, it will record all the 404 requests. But I need to manually block one IP. And that could be too late. I’m looking for the functionality/option that WP Security can block that IP “automaticaaly”, say if one IP requests over 100 non-existing url per second, block it.

    Hi DesignsAndCode,

    I got your point now. I can combine any other plugins that modify WP search with YOURS. Just tried Search Everything again and search from Search & Filter, and it did work!! So I can have the advantage from both plugins. I believe Relevanssi will be the same.

    Hi Scott, I use meta-based CPT.

    I also tried some other plugins. Relevanssi- if you force AND in option, nothing will be found. Search Everything- can search meta-based custom fields but is not friendly for double-byte wording when highlight the keyword in result.

    I like Search & Filter because I have two custom taxonomies as criteria and it works exactly what I want. The only thing I found is it seems not searching my custom fields (meta?), yes, the same as WP default search.

    Anyway, I’ll continue trying to see if there is any other solution. It seems in Pods I need to do something manually via page/template so maybe I’ll leave it later. Thanks.

    Only one filter in my test. The Pods CPT has 6 fields. I tried to select 2 posts and bulk edit, it will still fail. Under IIS (WebMatrix actually) it shows a very long querystring like below:
