I’ve set all 3 calendars– the two I’m grouping and the group calendar itself, to use the theme’s timezone because the events listed are in LA. * However, I speak and perform outside of PST. I am curious how that will be impacted. I also disabled them just to test the grouped calendar timezone issue. * Don’t get me wrong.. I’m using a free plug-in. It’s annoying but not disastrous. If I were paying for the premium, it would be unacceptable, however. * I develop software and I appreciate the complexities you are dealing with. I’ve released an upgrade or two over 20 years that was similarly problematic. * But I learned, when key features fail in a production release, better to admit it, fix it, and move on. Such is the life of software development. * For my part, I’ve simply had to strip HTML from the description and provide links to two distinct calendars. I didn’t do the auto-update. * I then renamed the virtue folder (w/2.5.2 back to virtue-2.5.2) and changed the folder virtue-2.5.4 to virtue. Everything worked and the update message is gone. * I am unsure what would have happened if I simply uploaded 2.5.4 and avoided the extra step. * All customizations are in place and working. I understand how that works. Not sure why. * I’ve set the page publish date to 2 days ago.. that seems to work. * I’ve set the default page to the “about page” as desired. * If I want to have a “blog” page – when they start blogging- and I cannot set the blog page to a specific page, what is the URL for that? I want it go go to the “About page” or a page of my choosing for the Home page. * I want 2 other static pages, no sidebar. * I want, eventually, a link to the blog in the menu. * I had used the full-width template but now am back to default.. although, that is NOT what I want. * It seems that the theme authors have made this overly challenging. It is Post Name. * Disabled plug-ins, re-enabled, disabled again.
