 * Ok, well I can say that I have transferred about 50 sites using this plugin. 
   There have been glitches, but overall it has saved me many many hours of manual
   work.
 * I had one site that just wouldn’t export. I spent quite a bit of time trying 
   to get it to work, and finally contacted my host. They had some setting in place
   for security that was keeping me from doing the export. They changed it long 
   enough for me to do the export and it worked nicely.
 * I did have to break one huge site down into multiple exports/imports, but that
   was ok, too.
 * And for everyone who is having problems with the images pointing to their old
   sites, there is a plugin to fix that! It’s called Import External Images, and
   can help in some cases. I also used a plugin called “seo transporter” (I think!)
   to move all my meta tags to the new format.

 * yes, I have used this plugin on several sites and the drafts are always imported.
