 * Has there been any progress on this? I think I’m suffering from the same problem–
   after upgrade I now have no menu, no widgets and no slideshow. I can manually
   recreate the menu, but adding widgets to the right sidebar doesn’t seem to work
   and no amount of fiddling with the slideshow settings seems to get me a slideshow.
