 * Hi,
 * It wasn’t a plugin or theme conflict. Seeing as each user is given a WP role 
   and UM role, there seems to be some inconsistencies between the two. I simply
   changed the WP role to something else and the problem went away. I also realised
   that the test users were created thru the backend – this gave me problem but 
   when I create users thru the front end (thru the UM plugin registration page)
   I have no problems. Maybe you should look into this?
