 * I am perhaps out of my depth here. How do I ‘drop the tables’ from the old WP
   and load the data to the new WP. I do not know SQL.

 * so do I need these strings or not? Are they doing anything for me or not? Since
   I am the admin and I have no idea if I am using SSL for admin, I would guess 
   I am not… unless that is the default.

 * I am having the same problem at GoDaddy and only since upgrade from 2.3 to 2.5
