    great! 
   one last clarification: is the generated EAN “valid”? I mean, if I use that generated
   EAN to search for the corresponding product on amazon (yes, amazon has this feature),
   do I find it? do they match?

 * Thank you very much for your reply.
    I realized that i explained myself very 
   badly. My problem is neither with exporting nor with importing, my problem is
   that i have a long list of products — without EAN — in my woocommerce, and I 
   have to add the EAN for each product, but i certainly can’t do it by hand
