 * Hello,
   I have the same problem as described by [@bexta](https://wordpress.org/support/users/bexta/).
   I am not able to edit already created galleries from the edit button.
 * Problem exists on:
   **PhotoGallery ver. 1.8.31 / WordPress ver. 6.8.2 PhotoGallery
   ver. 1.8.35 / WordPress ver. 6.8.2
 * Interestingly, problem does not exist on:
   **PhotoGallery ver. 1.8.31 / WordPress
   ver. 6.7.2**So maybe issue is somehow related to the WordPress version as well.
 * Is there already an ETA for the fix?
   Thanks!

 * [@jaineism](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jaineism/) , [@waynem1](https://wordpress.org/support/users/waynem1/),
 * I found a workaround: if you set on Gallery > Global Settings > Gallery view
   > Slideshow > **Slideshow filmstrip size** to 0px, the filmstrip disappears.

 * Hello,
 * I am having the **same problem on ver.: 1.8.8**. Setting:
    - on Photo Gallery > Global Settings > Lightbox
      **Enable filmstrip: No**and
    - on Photo Gallery > Global Settings > Gallery view > Slideshow
      **Slideshow
      filmstrip type: None**
 * do not have any effect on the Slideshow gallery view. But changing the filmstrip
   dimension is changing the height. Clearing cache is not helping. Please can you
   provide some solution or workaround that can solve this problem. I do not want
   this feature to all Slideshow galleries.
 * Thanks!

 * Hello,
 * I can confirm that the issue is not present in version 1.6.10.
    However, on that
   version the well-known problem with the responsiveness is present.
 * Nevertheless, let’s mark this as resolved and let’s hope we will have a newer
   version with both bugs fixed.
    Thanks!

 * Hello Kima,
 * Thanks for your reply!
 * The website is [https://roadsfromthenotes.com](https://roadsfromthenotes.com)

   However, this is happening on the Photo Gallery album administration panel in
   WordPress so I don’t think it can be seen as a website user.
 * I did a screenshot of the process here:
    [https://postimg.cc/sGdFsWY4](https://postimg.cc/sGdFsWY4)(
   go to last page with photos -> select three images -> action Add/Remove tag -
   > Apply)
 * And the result can be seen here:
    [https://postimg.cc/XpgM6pp9](https://postimg.cc/XpgM6pp9)(
   redirected to first page with images and no tags set on the selected images)
 * Actually tagging several images at once always has the same effect, even on the
   first page.
 * I hope these details were enough to clarify the issue.
    If not, please let me
   know and I will provide more.
 * Thank you!

 * Hello Team,
 * I have tried to update the plugin again on my testing environment and unfortunately
   on last **version 1.6.2 the problem still remains**.

 * Hello Support,
 * I am having the same issue. The Slideshow galeries lost their responsiveness
   after the last update. I also tried the proposed solution with deletion of the
   line, but it didn’t work. I tried to set some width/height values from the settings,
   but it only hardcodes the window to a fixed size and despite being fine on desktop,
   the mobile version was showing way too big images.
 * At the end, I was forced to rollback to last stable backup, using Photo Gallery
   v. 1.5.86
 * It would be nice this problem to be fixed sooner as it’s heavily impacting a
   lot of pages and users.
 * Thank you!

 * Hello [@abaketti](https://wordpress.org/support/users/abaketti/),
 * I had the same problem, but in the end I caught the root cause for it.
 * It turned out that previously configured limitations for the /wp-admin directory
   on my server were preventing the end users accessing the following script: **/
   wp-admin/admin-ajax.php**.
 * Please refer to my topic for more detailed explanation:
    [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/image-enlarge-not-working-after-update/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/image-enlarge-not-working-after-update/)
 * I see that your script is publicly accessible though:
    # curl [http://abkmv.net/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php](http://abkmv.net/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php)
   0
 * However, you can look for any codes different from ‘200’ in the site access log
   while trying to open a photo. It could be similar issue as mine.

 * Hello again!
 * I updated the theme and plugins to last version, cleared all warning without
   any result. And that’s normal because I found out that the issue has nothing
   to do with themes, plugins or compatibility.
 * It really took me a while to figure it out and I was really lost until I decided
   to open the website logs. I found a lot of log entries with 403 HTTP codes indicating
   forbidden resource:
    149.62.243.235 – – [25/Jan/2021:22:50:13 +0200] “GET /wp-
   admin/admin-ajax.php?action=GalleryBox&current_view=0&gallery_id=16&tag=108&theme_id
   =2&shortcode_id=177&sort_by=order&order_by=asc&current_url[…] HTTP/1.1” **403**
   2312 […]
 * It turned out that previously configured limitations for the /wp-admin directory
   on my server were preventing the end users accessing the following script: **/
   wp-admin/admin-ajax.php**. Short research on the Internet shows that it’s good
   practice to make two specific **exceptions to your VPN / Firewall / Apache Access
   Control / .htaccess**, which are:
 * **example.com/wp-admin/admin-post.php
    example.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
 * These are two auto-magic endpoints used by a lot by both internal WP and also
   various plugins.
 * I don’t know if that script is newly used by the ‘Photo Gallery’ plugin or it’s
   just a coincidence to be noticed after the update.
 * Anyway, thank you for your time and help! Sorry for bothering with a problem
   that was entirely local on my end. I will leave the case as open just for you
   to acknowledge the root cause (could be helpful for others like me), but you
   may close it as resolved.
 * Stay safe and healthy!

 * Hello,
 * The issue is sporadic – during the day both desktop and mobile were enlarging
   images without problems. Currently, it’s not working on mobile once again.
