I cannot see any reason for this behavior in my active WordPress-installation. In a backup- installation Relevanssi 4.9 works fine. All excerpts appear. I don’t know why. * Now I have deactivated “Create custom search result snippets” in “Excerpts and highlights” and I use “Advanced Excerpt”-Plugin for showing the seach-results as excerpt in my active installation. Everything works fine now with Relevanssi 4.9. All excerpts appear again. * I can live with that. So my WordPress-Website is running currently with Vers. 4.8.3. without problems searching with Relevanssi and excerpts. Maybe there is also an incompatibility with other plugins. I will check this too. * Next days I will try to setup a backup for testing. Too bad that you do not offer easy pagination. Meanwhile I found an other WP-plugin, which can handle category-viewing with pagination as I need. So I will change to this. So the result- page is too long and need a lot of loading time. It would be fine, if you would give the pagination to the plugin shortly!
