 * Yes, it was dumb of me, I realize. I’m not sure what I did in all that, I was
   just very frustrated that everything suddenly stopped working. I am really new
   to doing this and still learning.
 * I emailed my host and managed to get a backup of the MySQL database, and they
   restored the folder where WordPress was to what it was before I tried to upgrade,
   but it still doesn’t work and I don’t really understand what to do with the database
   in Cpanel to make it work now.
 * I am still getting this error when I try to login to WordPress:
 * Error establishing a database connection! This probably means that the connection
   information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect. Double check it and try
   again.
 * * Are you sure you have the correct user/password?
    * Are you sure that you
   have typed the correct hostname? * Are you sure that the database server is running?
 * WordPress Support Forums
 * The name of the databse in the wp-config file matches the one that exists in
   Cpanel, so I’m not sure what to do or change. If anyone could help me, I would
   be extremely grateful.

 * It was some kind of automatic backup, it’s a zipped file that contains all the
   files for my first (working) installation of WordPress.
