 * That’s what I figured. I have seen plenty of examples that show them elsewhere.
 * When I add widgets to the following areas:
    – Under “Main Widget Area” = Nothing
appears – Under “Secondary Widget Area” = They appear here at the very bottom:

 * I am using a laptop that is 1366×768, so as far as I can see i’m not hitting
   a mobile device yet.
 * Ideally what I would like is for the widgets to display here (in red):

 * Done. Thanks for the clarification on the stylesheet, learned something new there!
 * My understanding about the twentythirteen theme is that the sidebar was intentionally
placed at the bottom by design.

 * Thanks for the reply. I am confused however. I have created a child theme based
   on these instructions. [http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes](http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes)
 * I have been reviewing the code using what Chrome provides. I guess i’m just confused
by what CSS is necessary to switch the placement of the sidebar. I have tired
to change many aspects of the sidebar CSS, but nothing seems to work. I figured
i’d ask here to see if anyone could see it faster than I am.
