In reply to: [PuSHPress] PuSHPress is Conflicting with PowerPress Podcasting PluginAlso, PubSubHubbub plugin slows down sites when publishing articles. Takes 30 seconds to 1 minute to publish an article.
So far on WordPress, PushPress and PubSubHubbub have been failures, and consequently, so is the PubSubHubbub protocol.

In reply to: [PuSHPress] PuSHPress is Conflicting with PowerPress Podcasting PluginWhoah… I just resolved this on two high visibility podcast sites that were crippled. Podcasters could not post their shows. Then I found this post after resolving the issue.
PushPress KILLS PowerPress. DO NOT install both PushPress 0.1.7.2 along with PowerPress 6.0 or 6.01.
If you have to use PowerPress, disable PushPress.
If you absolutely need to run PushPress along PowerPress, here is the workaround:
-The Podcast Episode will change to the first URL to an MP3 file that is put into the article. If you post a Youtube URL with Add Media/from URL, the Pocast episode will disappear.
If you embed a Youtube video, for example, the MP3 link to podcast episode MUST be posted in the article, BEFORE the Youtube embed, and all other media URLs in article.404 events are still not logged with 256meg PHP memory limit. Memory limit confirmed before execution.
PHP memory_limit = 128M. Two different shared hosting services.
IPs are not from the same country.
-The 404 Detected interface does not provide a means to BlackList, only to Temporarily Block.
-The BlackList manager does not provide the Reason of the block, as does the Locked IPs (DashBoard)
-I would have to copy/paste a number of IPs to use the BlackList feature, instead of pressing “blocked” as with the 404 Detected interface.
-Also, IPs are not compromised/malicious forever, but a long term block is good.
-I was redirecting specific malicious requests towards a trap, but now I want to outright block malicious attempts. Notably, after renaming the Login URL, PLENTY of requests are made to Register/Login/RecheckEmail, wp-admin, wp-login. Those are the basic ones, but there are other weird malicious requests I would like to block. Cannot use 404 to 301/root plugins as I must monitor 404 errors with selective redirects after site migration to WP to keep old URLs functional.
I recall having issues blocking IP addresses after entering the 525600 timeout value.
I would block some IPs, then then would be unblocked, and the Locked IP Addresses (DashBoard) would populate, then depopulate. IPs would appear and disappear.Under 404 Detection (Firewall), “Temporary Blocked” IPs would become Unblocked after blocking other IPs.
Resolved. Don’t know how. Probably some cache expired somewhere. Seems to have been fixed when disabled Cloudflare Minify JS/CSS/HTML, but re-enabling does not cause the issue so far.
I had tried removing those options the day before, while clearing the CloudFlare cache, W3 Total Cache caches, browser cache…Removed some Transient Options with WP-Optimize, maybe it took a while to take effect. Switched PHP from FastCGI and back. No idea what exactly did it.
Now all caches and minifying is active as the site usually is, and now everything works. Can not reproduce for now.
May have to do with some .JS files recompiled in Closure/JSMin.
Do not have issue on another site.
Have restored original plugin .JS files for PowerPress and NextGen Gallery, but admin menus are still not working.
Not sure what to do now that plugin files are restored to original. So far, seems I have to deactivate PowerPress and NextGen Gallery to regain admin menu functionality.
Getting the same issue on 3 browsers since the auto-update to 4.0
Disabled some plugins as process of elimination, nothing so far.
