 * Hi, basically just download Adminer to c:\wamp\apps\adminer (rename the file
   from adminer-x.y.z.php to index.php) and copy c:\wamp\alias\phpmyadmin.conf to
   adminer.conf and update the paths.
 * Now, you can access adminer using the [http://localhost/adminer](http://localhost/adminer)
   URL and there is a link to it in your dashboard ([http://localhost](http://localhost)).

 * Hi Ovidiu,
 * I’s Borek, creator of VersionPress here. While I haven’t personally used WP Git
   Deploy, by looking at its source code it looks like it’s just a convenience switch
   between multiple environments. VersionPress is very different as its code actually
   contains version control logic like adding things to the repository, handling
   reverts etc.
 * Another way of looking at it is that WP Git Deploy is a couple of lines of code
   while VersionPress will have thousands of them.
 * Thanks for your interest in VersionPress!

 * Ok, thanks, I understand. And sorry if the post was against rules – I certainly
   didn’t mean to violate them.

 * Hi esmi, the license is undecided yet (for more on that, please refer to the
   FAQ). VersionPress is at a very early stage, we just need to know what people
   think and that will influence its future.
 * Thanks.

 * Maybe could you suggest a hook / action I should look for in other plugins to
   see if something interferes with WP-Markdown?

 * Hmm, the only other plugin that seem related to comments is Akismet (and with
   very small chance, maybe something from Jetpack?). I will try to disable other
   plugins to see how it goes. Thanks.

 * Sorry I’ve noticed that this forum screwed my original post in one more way,
   there should be “gt” entities in the output example, not PHP arrows.

 * Sorry the last sentence should read:
 * Instead of greater than sign (>), WP Markdown outputs `&gt` (in case WordPress.
   org eats this, there is an “amp” HTML entity) which is displayed as `&gt` in
   the browser. Any hint on how to fix this?

 * Thanks Otto, I have noticed later that there are separate plugins, I was just
   confused as I expected similar behavior to SFC (list of checkboxes right on the
   main plugin page).

 * Thanks for posting a solution, however, this whole DB abstraction thing lost
   my trust and I went with MySQL. I’m not happy that I needed to install another
   DB server just to run a blog engine but hopefully it will save some nerves in
   the future.
