 * Small update: when I disabled another plugin, Complianz stopped misbehaving,
so I’m quite sure you’re right. Thank you for your help!

 * Changing it from cURL back to Sockets solved the problem. Maybe there’s something
in the “debug on” setting that could be added to display the parsing problem(?)
Anyway, thank you for your help Wayne!

 * Hmmm…using Chrome, I clicked the “Add a new connection” in Keyring (which had
never displayed any working connections), then clicked “Eventbrite”…then logged
in. Magically, it’s all working now.
 * I see a proper External ID in Keyring and clicking “Test” says: “This connection
is working correctly.” I assigned the Eventbrite template to a page and events
   are displaying. Wow!
 * I guess all’s well that ends well but…I don’t know what was wrong. Apparently
my setup was correct but something was…stuck(?)

 * I even cleared all my cookies in my browser and re-logged into Eventbrite. Can
   anybody help?

 * Nope, just one account. Yes, the problem persists. Just tried it the other day
again after logging out and then logging back in.

 * Thank you anphira. I’m still getting the error message when I click “Eventbrite”
   in Keyring:
 * The application you’re trying to use has made an invalid request to Eventbrite.
   Please contact the application developer.

 * BTW, on my “Add New Connection” screen, I have two links:
 * Eventbrite (Manage)
 * I am clicking “Eventbrite” as instructed. Perhaps “(Manage)” is there because
it “knows” I’m logged into Eventbrite(?)

 * Yes, that’s the sheet I’m working from. I figured I’d start over today.
 * So I deleted both plugins and all their associated files, and started from scratch,
re-installing both the Eventbrite API and the Keyring plugin. I am logged into
my Eventbrite account in another tab.
 * From my WP Dashboard, when I click the “Add New Connection” and click “Eventbrite”
in the list, I get this:
 * The application you’re trying to use has made an invalid request to Eventbrite.
   Please contact the application developer.

 * When does the update come out? My plug-ins list shows my current version as 1.0.1
and there’s no update available according to my WP Dashboard…

 * IMHO the Salesforce WP plug-in just needs a CAPTCHA field to be most effective.
They could (should) make it optional.
