 * I have the same issue. Post revisions in the WP admin pages for one of my posts
shows 34 yet WP-Optimize shows “0”. How do we fix this?

 * I have the same lack of understanding with regard to this contact form as the
originator of this post. If I read your response correctly, Contact Form 7 sends
an email from myself to myself, that references a message from new contact that
has occurred on the contact form page. And this is done so as not to inadvertently
spam the new contact? Then how does the new contact find out that his/her message
has been received? I’m not following this at all.

 * Okay. After a half hour with our web host we finally resolved the issue. The
root directory of our site does have PHP 5.4 running. The WP install is in a
sub-directory that also needed its .htaccess file annotated for PHP 5.4. Once
this happened the plugin activated properly.

 * Okay this is the error (similar to above) I get when attempting to activate the
   plugin —
 * “This plugin requires WordPress 4.0 or greater, and PHP 5.4 or greater. You are
currently running WordPress 4.3.1 and PHP 5.2.17. Please contact your website
host or server administrator for more information. The plugin has been deactivated.”
 * Checking my site hosting cpanel shows the site is running on PHP 5.4.24 not 5.2.17.

 * I am running PHP 5.4.24 and am getting activation errors as well with 3.3.1
