 * But this was working fine with older versions of wordpress. Does that mean I 
   should install older version and see if its working??

 * Thanks irridiax for some solutions.
    I don’t want to upgrade as I am not much
   confident of the upgradation. I can rule out hacking as there is not even slightest
   problem with rest of the blog. Can you let me know the location of error log 
   file.
 * Upgradation is the last resort for me.
